About the role
At Four Seasons Private Residences Los Angeles, the Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the residents, employees, and property assets. The Security Officer works closely with other departments’ personnel in coordinating security and safety efforts throughout the property.
What you will do
• Adhere and enforce security policy and procedures and Four Seasons safety guidelines.
• Respond promptly to all type of emergencies.
• Complete detailed injury reports for the Private Residences’ employees, residents and
visitors.
• Investigate and document all property damage that occurs in and around the property
perimeter.
• Investigate and document resident vehicle damage.
• Complete the daily log for the upcoming shift.
• Patrol the Residences’ entire building using the Tour Guard Patrol tool.
• Have professional communication when utilizing a two-way radio.
• Assist with the regular patrolling of the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing rooms and
equipment, understanding basic operational controls (i.e. valve shut off).
• Assist residents with parking and retrieving their vehicles when needed.
• Perform Concierge duties when needed.
• Related duties and special projects as assigned.
• Act as the Supervisor on duty in the building and form part of the Emergency Response
team.
• Assists Resident Service Attendants with responsibilities and duties in their absence or during
heavy volume periods.
• Ensure the Residential Lobby is in optimal condition of cleanliness and tidiness at all times.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Director of Residences.
What you bring
• A minimum of two years in security fields, preferably in hospitality.
- A v alid California guard card (BSIS) is required
• A valid California driver's license is required
• A current CPR/AED and First Aid certification is required
• Good verbal and written communication skills required.
- Computer skills including typing/word processing experience and the ability to write clear
and factual reports.
• Must be able to lift 20-pounds regularly.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of safety practices in the workplace is preferred.
