Astor Professional Search, LLC, a national full-service provider of legal recruiting and legal search services, is seeking a Legal Recruiter for its Chicago office. This individual will work with hiring partners, general counsel, and other law firm and corporate legal department management to recruit for direct hire attorney positions. This is a fast-paced, consultative position that requires a legal background (at least two years practicing at a law firm post-graduation) and either previous sales experience or strong sales acumen.
Prior experience practicing law is required. If you are an attorney with an outgoing, dynamic personality and strong sales ability, looking for a change in environment or desiring to leave your law practice, then you will be very successful with our company. Additionally, you will experience a great deal of autonomy while utilizing your creativity and leaving behind the billable hour requirement.
This position requires someone who is business savvy and highly motivated to meet key performance metrics. Astor finds opportunistic positions for attorneys in both law firms and corporations. This role will allow you to further develop your consultative skills and to join a winning team.
