About the Role
This is a night shift position, 12 hour shifts (3-2-2-3) The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation of blow and injection molding systems and all auxiliary equipment. Operates blow and injection mold machines to include set-up, cleaning, operation and basic maintenance. Performs required machine operations to heat, pressure and profile; monitors process variables and adjusts profiles to maintain quality standards. Performs repetitive production and packing operations to mass process products, such as plastic bottles.
· Operates blow mold and/or injection machines including set-up, cleaning, operation, and basic maintenance
· Performs routine visual inspections as scheduled in Real SPC systems and ensures accuracy of quality documentation
· Monitors and ensures accuracy of record keeping/documentation to include proper production reporting and storage of finished product
· Performs preventative maintenance and other routine maintenance tasks on equipment
· Assists maintenance in equipment troubleshooting and repairs; assists in removal, installation and overhaul of molds
· Responsible for material handling to and from blow mold/injection mold machines, including weighing, tagging and strapping finished product
· Ensures the plant and production equipment are clean and free of debris; cleans production machinery and maintains work area in a manner consistent with GMP audit criteria
· Performs back-up Palletizer and/or Downstream duties as required
· Train Machine Operator I and lower level Machine Operator II employees
· Perform all other duties as assigned

About You
· Education: High School Diploma or GED
· Previous Blow Mold or Injection Mold training/experience preferred, or experience in manufacturing processes with demonstration of mechanical aptitude
· High attention to detail and product/process quality
· Ability to manage time independently and complete tasks in a fast-paced production environment
· Must be willing to work any shift and overtime as required

The pay range for the above referenced position is determined by taking into account many factors such as experience, qualifications, certifications, skills, education and other business-related factors. Salary decisions are based on each job. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $23.30 to 25.70 based on experience
