We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Roofing Service Sales Specialist to join our dynamic and rapidly expanding team. As a key player in our mission to provide exceptional services and products to our customers, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our continued growth and success.
OBJECTIVE/MISSION
Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Inspect roofs thoroughly to assess damage, leaks, and overall condition. Close sales deals and secure contracts for roofing repair projects. Reach set quarterly and yearly sales goals.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Roofing Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of roofing materials commonly used in South Florida and select appropriate materials for repairs. With at least five years of direct residential and/or commercial experience.
- Client Visits & Proposals: Visit clients requiring roof repairs, preparing detailed and accurate proposals that outline the scope of work, cost estimates, and timelines.
- Sales Targets: Achieve sales targets and goals as defined by the company.
- Sales Strategies: Implement strategies to exceed sales quotas and contribute to business growth.
- Additional Sales: Sell maintenance plans to both new and existing customers.
- Customer Satisfaction: Deliver quality sales experience and excellent service to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Client Communication: Communicate regularly with clients regarding repair status and any necessary change orders. Seek customer feedback and address concerns to maintain positive relationships.
- Client Follow-Up: Address client questions or concerns promptly and thoroughly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and project details.
- Photo Documentation: Take photos using Company Cam (including attic, roof, and site photos) and utilize client management software to update client files with details and notes.
- Project Management: Collaborate with repair technicians, provide project walkthroughs, oversee quality control, and address any repair team questions or training needs.
- Company Image: Help maintain the company's image on job sites, ensuring proper attire and housekeeping standards are met.
- Material Sourcing: Assist in sourcing necessary materials as needed.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Roofing Expertise: Extensive knowledge and expertise in roofing. At least five years of roofing experience.
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in roofing repair sales for residential and/or commercial settings. At least two years of roofing sales experience.
- Material & Technique Knowledge: Strong knowledge of various roofing materials and repair techniques.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must be insurable on corporate fleet insurance).
- Problem-solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Communication: Strong communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Ethical Standards: High moral and ethical standards in both business and personal dealings.
- Computer Proficiency: Proficient in applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Personality: Outgoing personality, able to put clients at ease and answer their questions.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment to roofs, including those of two- and three-story buildings.
- Work Conditions: Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
