Job Summary: Operators use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions. CNC Operators must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are essential. The goal is to produce high quality parts and materials by programming machines to perform the right operations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare to load and unload raw materials and parts onto the machines.
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
- Responsible for the quality of the products produced by the manufacturing cell to which they are assigned to. This may include visual inspection of the parts or measuring of characteristics using hand gages.
- Verify conformance of machined and /or assembled parts to specifications using hand gages and/or CMM reports.
- A CNC Machine Operator is responsible to conduct SPC checks as indicated in corresponding Control Plan and/or other Work Instructions assigned to the job, this may include visual inspection of parts.
- CMM reports and/or other measuring methods as described in the specific Work instructions and Control Plan documentation. This includes written reports, specific job assigned forms, electronic forms or reports, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned and as necessary.
- Understand purge and contain for quality related issues.
- Upkeep of work area.
We have the following available shifts:
- 1st Shift- 6:30am-2:30pm
- 2nd Shift- 2:30pm - 10:30pm
- 3rd Shift- 10:30pm- 6:30am

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Mechanical inclination and basic knowledge of manufacturing.
- Prior experience as a machine operator strongly preferred.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge on machining and assembly process.
Work Environment: The job works in conditions with constant exposure (67% or more) to noise, odors, dust, drafts, and chemicals.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to operate in a manufacturing setting.
- Able to push, carry, or pull heavy objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Full Time, 40 hours per week or more.
