The Senior Brand Manager will be the champion, primary catalyst, and authority for assigned brands within our well-established and growing Preschool and Music division. You will be the key architect in developing and driving the overall brand vision while leading a high-performing cross-functional team to execute that vision and achieve results. Working alongside the Brand Director, the Senior Brand Manager will oversee product line development and carry out strategic plans for their brand(s) while meeting and exceeding financial and business objectives to help our company grow and succeed.
What you will do:
- Business lead on your brand(s) - ensuring all teams and key stakeholders are informed of the brand’s vision, positioning, product strategy, etc.
- Create product lines by collaborating with the cross-functional team including product design, packaging design, product development, marketing, licensing, and other internal team partners.
- Drive day-to-day line development for assigned brand(s) and manage to key development milestones and financial objectives.
- Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute marketing strategy / assets including TV commercials, digital and social media assets.
- Key point of contact with licensors throughout the development and planning process.
- Build sales presentations and present brand(s) to both internal sales team and retailer partners.
- Evaluate the competitive landscape and industry trends to help drive strategic decisions around product development.
- Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, consumer behavior, and competition to identify opportunities and challenges for our brand.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, sales, and operations to ensure successful product launches.
- Analyze and evaluate sales data, understand the competition and current industry trends to aid in product line architecture and development. Identify growth, retailer and channel exclusive opportunities, and new product segments.
- Act as a key mentor for associate staff.
- Collaborate with the international team to ensure we have a global product line and meet international needs.

What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in industry-relevant field preferred
- 5-8 years of of brand management, product development, product management, brand development, licensing, project management, or relevant experience
- 5-8 years of experience in the consumer products industry, toy experience is strongly preferred
- 3-5 years of direct management experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office & G-Suite
- Interest in following trends within the Preschool IP / entertainment and Music categories.
- Experience working with large-scale, global licensors.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Skilled in presentation composition and communications apps, including PowerPoint and Google Slides.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - an articulate speaker and presenter who knows how to read and engage an audience, and is comfortable presenting to internal and external senior-level leadership.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment and be nimble enough to adapt to shifts in priorities.
- Proven ability to lead and manage people and teams, and mentor junior staff.

The salary range for this position is $107,755 - $130,000 /Yr. Base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for annual performance incentives may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, salary range may not apply to other states.
