Children’s Cardiology, a subsidiary of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, is comprised of more than 50 pediatric cardiologists providing comprehensive services for patients from before birth to age 21 who have acquired or congenital heart disease. The Recruiting Coordinator position encompasses a diverse mix of human resources support responsibilities with emphasis on recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline or equivalent work experience required.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification a plus.
- 2 years of human resources experience preferred.
- Experience in a Human Resources Information System preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to effectively communicate with different level managers is required.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through discipline.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Must possess a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform full cycle recruitment including job postings, reviewing resumes, making recommendations, scheduling candidate interviews, handling correspondence and other duties assigned.
- Partner with the recruiting team, hiring leaders and candidates to schedule interviews.
- Monitors recruiting inbox and promptly responds to all inquiries.
- Process candidate background screenings and verifications of employment.
- Facilitate new employee orientation with required materials, presentations, scheduling, and management.
- Create recruitment job files and employee personnel files for new hires once positions are closed based on HR guidelines.
- Oversee Employee Referral Program including communications, follow-up items, and submitting check requests to Accounting department.
- Maintain confidentiality of personnel records.
- May provide limited interpretation of policies and procedures to employees.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
