Maintenance Technician:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at a leading injection molding manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of injection molding machines and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

SCHEDULE: Shift is a 12-hour, days on a rotating schedule (2-2-3).
HOURS: 7AM- 7PM
- The first 30 or so days will be training on a M-F Day shift, then converting over to the actual shift.
Week 1:
Monday / Tuesday (ON) ; Wednesday / Thursday (OFF) ; Friday / Saturday / Sunday (ON)
Week 2:
Monday / Tuesday (OFF) ; Wednesday / Thursday (ON) ; Friday / Saturday / Sunday (OFF)
- You work 14 of 28 days and the hours work out to 40 hours and 40.5 hours (because we adjust the hours cut off to Saturday 1p).
- Overtime is available during your 2-day week.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repairs:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in molding machinery and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct repairs and replace defective parts as necessary to ensure machines operate efficiently.
Troubleshooting:
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize production disruptions.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and schematics to pinpoint problems and execute timely repairs.
Equipment Optimization:
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine performance and recommend improvements.
Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure machines are operating safely.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs according to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance within an injection molding or manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems in injection molding machinery.
- Familiarity with PLCs, control systems, and robotics used in injection molding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform tasks that require climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in maintenance or industrial technology.
- Experience with specific brands/models of injection molding machines
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
