We are a premium Montessori school for children twelve weeks to six years old and we are located in the heart of Beverly, MA. We are seeking a hands-on classroom leader who is experienced with caring and teaching in 3-6 environments. We encourage people who have a passion for education, cleanliness, routine, and a willingness to learn and grow in a warm and welcoming community to apply.
Qualifications:
We are looking for an EEC Certified Teacher, preferably with a four-year degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (or related field with at least one year of full-time teaching experience with a group of children).We also prefer a candidate with a Montessori certification, however we are open to the right person who has the proper motivation and passion to pursue their certification.
Some must haves: good leadership skills and the ability to relate well to children and adults, including parents, staff members, and visitors. You also have the capacity to accept and navigate differences in lived experience and personality among teachers and children in the community. You will also need the ability to supervise and direct one or more assistant teachers/floaters. You will also need to be able to internalize and act upon suggestions and requirements imposed by the Director, Assistant Director and Curriculum Coordinator.

- Candidates must be 21 years of age.
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Candidates must meet state minimum requirements for education and experience.
- A High School Diploma (required), Associates Degree or bachelor’s degree in the Arts, Child Development Early Childhood Education, Child Guidance, Human Services, Nursing, Psychology, Physical Education, or other EEC Site Coordinator approved fields is strongly preferred.
- Must be First Aid and CPR certified (can be completed/renewed here if needed).
- Credible, honest, and has high integrity.
- The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, organized, passionate about children, and has experience working with the 3-6 age group.

Pay: $20.95 - $25.23 per hour
