General Description: The Catering Staffing Manager will be responsible for all hiring and training of Boka Catering front and back of house. They will handle all booking for off-premises events along with handling of call offs and replacement staff. The staffing manager will also act as an onsite Function Director where needed. They will act as an extension of the operations team assisting in event logistics and day to day drop-offs and errands .
Staffing Manager’s Responsibilities:
- Updating Culinary Agents

BOH Positions: Prep Cook, Line Cook & Hourly Supervisor

Reviewing Applications on Culinary Agents

Interviews: 1st Phone, 2nd In-Person or setting up introductory day for BOH

Describing the day-to-day responsibilities of each role

Adding in the appropriate amounts of staff asked for the event, in collaboration with FOH and BOH managers

Inputting the correct information for staff on each event: in/out times, BEOs, etc.

Qualifications:

2-3years in a catering staffing role or management role
-
full availability on weekends
-
Microsoft Office literate

Empathetic toward others

This is an ideal position for someone who is dedicated to providing great service and is seeking to become a member of a hard-working and fun team!
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
- Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces
- Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments
