We’re looking for the helpful, friendly first voice customers hear when they call our company. The right person for this job is someone technically savvy enough to help customers navigate our websites as well as to help customers with account issues and purchases. When you’re not assisting a customer, you’ll stay challenged with a variety of administrative and organizational tasks. In this position, you’ll be a key part of keeping our daily operations humming.
Our hybrid work schedule consists of 3 days working from home each week, and your days in the office are casual and hassle-free. Your work schedule is predictable yet varied enough to keep you interested. On any given day, you might:
- Help a customer who calls to ask a question about their login account
- Enter and cancel invoices
- Verify and pay royalties to over 200 individuals
- Order office supplies, set up company meetings, reserve conference rooms, and otherwise serve as the contact with our landlord
- Maintain our virtual and physical filing systems
- Assist with various projects as assigned by management.
- Prepare customer billing reports and track payments
This job might be for you if:
- You communicate clearly. You write well. You speak eloquently. You can explain just about anything to anyone, and you’re comfortable communicating in writing and on the phone.
- You pay attention to the details. As far as you’re concerned, anything worth doing is worth doing right, every single time. You stay focused, and nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
- You enjoy solving problems. You love taking on challenges and finding creative solutions. You don’t get flustered easily. If you don’t know the answer, you’ll dig until you find it.
- You think on your feet. You like learning new things, and you can learn quickly
- You are competent and pride yourself in doing a good job, and when you take on a task, you own it.
Other than having an intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skill level, there are no specific academic or work experience requirements for this position. To land this job, you will need to be able to articulate why you are the best candidate using specific examples from your school and/or work background. Internships, volunteer work and side projects count. Use your cover letter to cite specific examples of how your organizational skills and attention to detail have helped in the past.
Apply today. An opportunity like this doesn’t come around very often.
Remember, to apply we will need:
