Skill Instructor Responsibilities
● Provide constant and equal supervision, engagement, and support to all program participants
● Facilitate skill development programs for assigned participants including required instruction, assistance, prompting, and documentation.
● Implement personal care, meal, and behavior service protocols and provide care for program participants, including activities of daily living (personal hygiene needs, toileting, mealtime assistance, and repositioning)
● Monitor and report any issues related to the personal care and medical needs of people as well as any needs for wheelchairs or adaptive equipment
● Accurately administer medications to clients
● Drive large capacity vehicles to provide transportation to program participants (non-driving roles available)
Skill Instructor Qualifications
● High school diploma/ GED required
● Able to work in the US and not require Visa Sponsorship
● Read, write, understand, and give/follow directions in English
● Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs.
