Performs a variety of skilled work to maintain chemical feeder equipment, biological processes, motors, telemetering sensory equipment, and pumping equipment for wastewater treatment plant equipment and operations. Performs difficult technical and mechanical work in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities. May provide direction to peers and subordinates in performing routine day-to-day work activities.
The ideal candidate will possess an ADEQ Wastewater Grade II certification, as well as a CDL with tanker endorsement. Preferance will be given to candidates possessing experience in operating centrifuges for dewatering sludge, performing/analyzing lab testing and wastewater process controls. The individual would have previous experience with systems such as Hach WIMs, Rockwell Automations (SCADA) and Lucity asset managment. They would be a self-motivated, detail oriented and posess strong interpersonal skills. Shall be able to maintain a positive attitude and represend the City of Goodyear in a professional way.
