POSITION SUMMARY: Provide outreach and engagement, education and support to individuals in recovery from a substance use disorder.
Accountable and responsible for the following results:

Provide appropriate positive self-disclosure and act as a role model.

Provide unique outreach and engagement to increase adherence and retention.

Advocate on behalf of clients in the MAT program.

Connecting clients with needed services and supports (including AA/NA).

Coaching and mentoring
-
Installation of hope
-
Participate as a member of the MAT Team.

Serve on internal and external committees as requested.

Attend training sessions, workshops, seminars as requested by supervisor, or as needed for professional development, or as required for accreditation or licensing.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
-
High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
-
Experience with and knowledge of substance use and/ or co-occurring disorders.
-
Balanced abilities to work autonomously and collaborate with various professionals including clinicians, medical staff, and other community providers.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
-
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must maintain an acceptable driving record and be insurable at a reasonable rate under the Organization’s auto insurance plan.
LICENSURE /CERTIFICATIONS
-
Recovery Coach Certificate from CCAR Recovery Coach Academy, or the willingness to become certified.
