We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front of House Manager in a hospitality industry role. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our café and delivering exceptional service to our guests. The Front of House Manager will support the General Manager in effectively managing the café and retail/grocery store, adhering to company policies and guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction, maximize profits, and develop a high-performing team of shift supervisors and counterpersons.

Phantom Farms is open year-round, from 6 am to 5 pm every day, and requires a dedicated team of service professionals to manage daily operations.
Responsibilities Include:
· Customer Service Leadership: Handle and resolve customer complaints or issues. Train and coach counterperson employees on customer service skills, conducting quarterly training sessions as needed.
· Customer Engagement: Engage with customers and be knowledgeable about the farm to answer any questions.
· Team Leadership: Manage and train staff members across all areas of the farmstand, leading by example.
· Staff Hiring and Training: Hire and train employees who represent Phantom Farms positively. Plan and organize staffing needs for peak seasons (August-November), ensuring all staff are properly trained.
· Staff Management: Oversee staff members' indoor responsibilities and manage staff schedules.
· Employee Development: Ensure employee development through performance reviews and clear, effective daily communication of expectations.
· POS System Proficiency: Learn and properly use the POS system and manage cash handling.
· Payroll Management: Control labor costs by evaluating weekly sales and adjusting schedules based on expected weather conditions and historical data.
· Inventory Management: Keep the bakery and retail store stocked with fresh products, partnering with the GM to order supplies as needed.
· Event Assistance: Assist the GM and kitchen manager with scheduled parties and events.
· Food and Beverage Knowledge: Possess extensive food and beverage knowledge to accurately inform customers and wait staff about ingredients in products.
· Vendor Communication: Communicate directly with vendors and management staff to ensure smooth operations.
· Business Operations: Learn computer systems to ensure smooth business transactions and oversee daily operations to maintain a welcoming atmosphere in the farmstand.
· Safety Protocols: Maintain and enforce public safety protocols for all employees.

· 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry

· Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
· Must be ServSafe Manager certified and adhere to proper food-handling procedures

Pay: $42,552.07 - $51,245.50 per year
