Position Summary
The basic function of the Festival Security Officer is to ensure efficient policing of the Crystal Bay Casino premises, enforce regulations, loss prevention and to maintain desired public order. It is the duty of each officer to protect company assets and to ensure the comfort and safety of our guest. The Festival Security Officer is responsible for greeting guests, providing information, and assisting customers.
The Festival Security Officer is responsible for patrolling the casino, parking garage and outside perimeter, and festival grounds. While patrolling, officers maintain a presence and assist by identifying potentially dangerous situations and act on them in an effective manner. Festival Security Officers respond to all codes and are the first responders within the casino to all emergencies. Festival Security Officers are responsible for calming situations if guests become too boisterous and impact the experience of others in a negative manner. Festival Security Officers are trained to evict disruptive guests if needed. Festival Security Officers are responsible for protecting against theft and vandalism. They must observe the actions and activities of both customers and employees.
Festival Security Officers may file daily shift reports detailing any incidents or accidents that occur during their shift. All unusual activities within the casino’s property must be documented. Other duties of the Festival Security Officer will include assisting with load-in & load out of entertainment equipment.

Gaming
- Must obtain a Nevada Gaming Control Board registration
- Must be at least 21+ years of age
- Must obtain an alcohol awareness card
Experience
- Security Officer experience is not required, however recommended
- CPR/AED training recommended
Skill, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to communicate with the public effectively
- Must be available to and willing to work all shifts required
- Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, lift and/stand for majority of shift

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekends only
License/Certification:
- Nevada Game Control Board registration (Preferred)
