Duties and Responsibilities: (Include, but are not limited to the following):

Follow and understand verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment and work under an immediate supervisor.

Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Comply with all health, sanitation, GMP, and USDA regulations described in the Employee Handbook and other policy and procedure documents.

Knowledge of handling procedures for meat products entering the company, including lot assignment and internal records procedures.

Responsible for safely transporting products around the warehouse.

Identify missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.

Responsible for opening and labeling received products.
- Assist in processing warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)

Ensure that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled.

Maintains accurate reporting of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting.
-
Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
-
Sort incoming and outgoing stock.

Opening, labeling, stocking, and stacking

Pulling, packing, and loading
-
Maintain coolers free of pallet debris.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment preventively.

Clean all trucks inside/outside to ensure no meat drippings, etc., are cleared and the trucks are in satisfactory condition for the next day.

Schedule hours Monday through Thursday from 3:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sunday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with the ability to work some Friday overtime as needed.

Ability to lift and move up to a max of 75 pounds

Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.

Able to operate a forklift, pallet jack, stand-up jack, etc.

Able to safely load/unload products into company trucks and vendor trucks.

Able to stack pallets in freezers and coolers in a safe manner.

Able to communicate effectively with managers, drivers, and all other personnel.

Strong sense of time organization and urgency

Able to work independently and within a team

Able to perform additional tasks from time to time as determined by Bertolino Foods in its sole and absolute discretion.
