Maintenance and Automation Technician: What You’ll Do:
- Support preventive maintenance, daily repair, and continuous improvement of specific assembly lines and processes.
- Design, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of sequential processes.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify automotive manufacturing and test equipment.
- Maintain and update all process documentation.
Maintenance and Automation Technician: What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of closed-loop servo systems.
- Experience in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of AC variable frequency drives.
- Proven capability of troubleshooting pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits
- Experience troubleshooting complex electrical systems, 24v to 480v.
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated robotics systems.
- Proven competence with performing basic machine shop operations holding standard tolerances through operation of milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, etc.
- Experience interfacing with various PLC programming languages, Siemens preferred.
- Personal computer skills: Microsoft windows, Excel, and Word
- Experience interpreting technical schematics: ladder logic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, fluid, etc.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 2 years technical maintenance experience plus 2 years automation/PLC controls or associate degree in technical manufacturing discipline and 2 years of automation/PLC controls.
