Fire Alarm and Security Technician
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair security systems in industrial and commercial buildings
- Conduct site surveys to assess security needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Install and program fire, security, access control, and other low voltage systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with systems
- Provide technical support to customers regarding security system operation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fire and security system installation and maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of building construction and electrical systems
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in security system installation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
