Job Purpose/Summary
With the as-needed consultation of the Group Practice Manager, this position provides therapy and related clinical services to clients independently in a private practice setting.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Nursing, Psychology, Counseling or other program in the field of Human Services/Mental Health from an accredited educational institution.
Licenses, Certifications & Clearances:
· PA State Professional license: · LPC-preferred, LCSW-preferred, LMFT.
· Act 33/34 Clearances
· FBI Clearance
· Eligible for insurance credentialing and completion of insurance credentialing process for BTWB
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
· Comprehensive knowledge of mental health best practices and principles as they apply to the provision of services
· Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of documentation practices necessary for accurate billing
· Strong decision-making skills and ability to make sound judgements
· Strong time management skills
· Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers, good communication skills
· Ability to work independently and operate within the scope of professional licensure standards and training
· Computer literacy and knowledge of relevant software
· Ability to exhibit ethical business behavior and maintain confidentiality of information and compliance as required by company policy and applicable laws

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Provide individual, group and family therapy services within the parameters of professional licensure, the profession’s code of ethics, insurance company requirements, and industry best practices.
· Translate theoretical knowledge into effective, time sensitive treatment interventions based upon individual and family dynamics.
· Operate independently using sound clinical judgement.
· Complete client intake and assessment as assigned by the Group Practice Manager, which also includes completing necessary intake paperwork.
· Maintain documentation for involvement with and contacts made by clients. Adhere to documentation requirements established by insurance company and other applicable guidelines.
· Complete documentation accurately to ensure clean and timely billing.
· Consult with external providers as needed to ensure continuity of care.
· Respond to afterhours crisis calls as clinically appropriate and as outlined by insurance company contract.
· Market the practice to build caseload.
· Utilize clinical consultation of Group Practice Manager on an as needed, case-by-case basis.
· Communicate with clients regarding outstanding balances and work with the Group Practice Manager on the creation of payment plans.
· Maintain current credentialing with insurance companies and licensure and provide applicable documentation to Group Practice Manager.
· Familiarize self with Company policies and procedures and how they guide business processes.
· Report any claims against your liability insurance to the Group Practice Manager within 24 hours of notification.
· Report any written formal complaints or grievances to the Group Practice Manager within 24 hours of receipt.
