Registered Nurse
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient's vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care protocols and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Proficiency in using ICD-9 coding system for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Experience in performing gastric lavage and airway management procedures
- Familiarity with laboratory tests and interpretation of results
- Ability to provide comprehensive care for patients with various health conditions
- Health coaching skills to promote wellness and disease prevention
- Knowledge of primary care principles and practices
- Specialized training in dementia care
