We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our long-established company and team in Miami, FL. The Account Manager will be responsible for selling industrial and commercial generators to new and existing customers. Our ideal candidate will generate sales leads, capitalize on incoming leads, develop customer relationships, and close sales deals. The successful candidate will have technical knowledge of generators or similar industry and excellent sales and communication skills to build strong customer relationships and meet sales targets. This position will require both independent lead generation and coordination with a marketing team to ensure business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads and follow up on sales opportunities through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical information to customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Utilize CRM software to manage leads and track sales activity
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute sales strategies
- Complete sales reports and forecast future sales trends
- Continuously improve sales skills and knowledge of products and industry trends
- Identify and generate new leads through various channels such as networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, including after-sales support.
- Negotiate prices and terms of sale with customers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or comparable industry experience) in business, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in generator industry or similar industries (Earth Moving, Construction, etc)
- Technical knowledge of generators and related equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Proven experience as a Salesperson in the generator industry or related field.
- Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
