Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our private office with great culture. The ideal candidate will assist our dental professionals in providing high-quality oral healthcare services to our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office and delivering exceptional patient care. Willing to train new graduate.
Duties:
- Perform chairside assisting during dental procedures, utilizing radiographs
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility of the treatment rooms following OSHA guidance
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment
- Manage patient records accurately
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Support dentists in various procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in related field
- Proficiency and familiarity with dental procedures
- Knowledge of dental software systems for record keeping but will be trained on site as well
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and other team members
- Willingness & motivation to be part of a great team and follow our core values
- Certification in Dental Assisting/Coronal polishing is preferred but not required

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
