Job Summary:
Solve computer problems, test cost-effective solutions, and provide support to ensure efficient daily operation of the organization’s network and maintain the organization’s computer systems.
Duties/Responsibilities
o Maintains email and intranet services, adding and removing users and accounts.
o Maintains network systems, installing new hardware and modifying existing hardware, and related network software and applications.
o Installs and maintains peripheral devices including printers, hubs, routers, and other equipment.
o Communicates with end users to understand and troubleshoot problems.
o Conducts periodic diagnostics and testing to ensure optimal network function and minimal downtime.
o Collaborates with network administrator to review and analyze hardware and software needs; recommends changes.
o Collaborates with other employees to research and resolve problems.
o Collaborates with programmers to explain errors and/or recommend modifications to computer programs.
o Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems.
o Performs other duties as assigned.
o Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
Required Skills/Abilities:
o Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
o Basic understanding of existing network programs and capabilities.
o Excellent workstation and network troubleshooting skills.
o Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
o Associate degree in computer science or equivalent experience required.
o At least three years of experience in network maintenance and user technical support preferred.
o A+, Network+, and/or similar certifications highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
o Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
o Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
o May be required to work on-call or long hours in case of network malfunction.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
