Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes required:
- The clinician must be proficient with accessing peripheral lines, handling central lines access, and administration of medications including: standard infusions chemotherapy, and medications chemotherapy/biotherapy agents
- Monitors therapeutic responses, and side effects, obtains pharmacokinetic blood samples, and other laboratory specimens as required by protocol
- Documents in a concise, accurate and legible manner according to clinical practice standards
- Supports/educate patients and their families during infusion/trial treatment
- Understand and follow medication protocols
- Utilizes independent learning methods to become knowledgeable about new protocols and protocol changes
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines specific to medical procedures (i.e. sanitation, decontamination etc.)
- Assesses, evaluates, and cares for patients while documenting nursing care related to symptom(s)/vital sign changes as expected by applicable governing bodies. Nurse modifies patient treatment plans as indicated by patient responses, conditions, and physician orders.
- Works with a Healthcare team of professionals (Physician driven) to achieve patient assess, implement care, and evaluate patient care driven by treatment planning.
- Provides patient/family/healthcare team care plan education within a timely manner ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines (i.e. HIPAA) while using best practices for the transition of patient care.
- Capable of operating applicable medical equipment, familiarized with medical terminology, and able to adapt to changing work demands and environments.
- Must have knowledge in medication protocols, mixing of medication, and logic behind medication dosing
- Willing to work with other lines of business such as home health, pharmacy, and/or clinical rotations
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

- Registered Nurse license, BLS, ACLS, ONS (Preferred)
