We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children. This role involves implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA
- Collect and record data on observable client behavior
- Assist in crisis management situations
- Administer medications as directed
- Monitor vital signs and other health indicators
- Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with medical records and terminology
- Ability to perform data collection accurately
- Proficiency in crisis management techniques
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols
- Understanding of working with children with developmental disabilities
