Overview:
ViaPath is actively searching for a QC Inspector who will perform a variety of quality control test and inspection functions on electronic assemblies and finished high reliability products in compliance with ViaPath standards.
The position will based at our Grand Prairie, TX office.
Shift will be: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM CST
Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process inspections per documented procedures, specifications, and engineering drawings.

Document inspection activities using electronic systems, written logs, and labels.

Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvement of inspection methods, inspection plans, and internal quality procedures and processes.

Maintain and inspect batteries to ensure they are in good condition, safely charge and install new batteries for tablets.

Perform load tests, visual inspections to ensure all batteries are in good working condition before charging.

Assist in identifying, processing, and investigating non-conforming products.

Complete, maintain, and distribute appropriate Quality records and documentation.

Communicate directly with manufacturing, material control and management personnel.

Apply Quality Systems knowledge to execute project assignments.

Drive scheduling of day-to-day processes; ensure timely and accurate turnaround.

Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate

2+ years of quality control experience; experience in a technology company preferred.

Experience with performing electronic and mechanical testing and inspections using portable measuring devices.

Experience with ERP software systems; D365 experience preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiar with the use of personal computers.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.

Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as needed.

Ease with climbing ladders, stooping, bending, crawling, and mobility while working within tight spaces.
