Job Description:
The Director of Business Development is a self-starter that identifies and cultivates new business opportunities in long term care, assisted living, and memory care facilities. The role is responsible for fostering current relationships with facilities while expanding our market presence.
As Director of Business Development, you are to seek opportunities for revenue growth through a multifaced approach that embraces new business opportunities and long-term strategic goals. One would be deeply involved in new business by overseeing contract negotiations, the referral process, and maintaining intake procedures for new facilities. At Remedy we want to exceed expectations by nurturing and advancing our partnerships and solidify our position in the behavioral health market.
This individual will have excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. This involves having informative and engaging presentations tailored to the specific needs of each facility while providing a deeper understanding of our services and solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Clear and concise communication with existing facilities contracted with Remedy and future potential accounts.
- Promotes the Remedy image and acts as a brand ambassador for the company.
- Proactively builds positive relationships internally and externally to support the company vision.
- Arrange meetings with prospective entities and their executives to discuss Remedy’s services and mission.
- Travel to visit prospective facility collaborators as well as current partners.
- Ensure completion of all required steps related to facility contract, intake process and requirements established related to new business.
- Develop new and maintain established relationships with facility administration and staff to ensure retention of services.
- Identifies, evaluates, and executes new business opportunities aligned with the company's overall vision.
Position Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Nursing, or other related field
- At least 3 years of sales experience
- 2 years of business development management experience
- Experience in long term care, assisted living, and memory care a must
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of computer programs such as: Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Strong networking skills
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships
- Some overnight travel may be required
