Job Description: The Document Control Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining all documentation related to the production and quality assurance processes of PCBA manufacturing. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a comprehensive understanding of document control practices within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Management:
- Maintain and update all documents related to PCBA manufacturing, including work instructions, BOM management, process documents, quality control records, and engineering change orders.
- Ensure that all documents are accurately filed, indexed, and easily retrievable.
- System Management:
- Data Integrity in terms of BOM imports and AVL management
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the document management system.
- Change Management:
- Manage the document change control process, including reviewing, approving, and distributing new and revised documents.
- Maintain a change control log to track document revisions and approvals.
- Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to develop and improve document control processes.
- Implement best practices for document control to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all documentation complies with export regulations and industry standards including ISO 9001
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
- Reporting:
- Generate and analyze reports on document control activities, including document status, audit results, and compliance metrics.
- Present findings and recommendations to management for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in document control within a manufacturing environment, preferably in PCBA manufacturing.
- Proficiency in electronic document management systems (SharePoint, Exostar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001 and IPC standards.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.75 - $32.75 per hour
