Shop Associate
The duties of a Shop Associate includes the gathering of materials from work orders by using proper material identification, measuring with a standard measuring tape to the 1/16th of an inch, and processing materials. The processing methods include shearing, punching, band saw cutting as well as others. There is a critical component of quickly and accurately completing order cut logs detailing materials utilized for each order.
The person will also wait on customers and be able to accurately process orders promptly as well as any other duties as directed by his/her supervisor.This job requires lifting materials that weigh in the neighborhood of 50-75 pounds. This job also entails performing support functions that may arise.
Preference will be given to an applicant that has a valid Georgia driver’s license with a good driving history of no more than three (3) points as some driving may be required.
Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm. Report time is 7:50 am. The appropriate attire for this position is dependent on the season, but will consist of blue jeans, leather boots, and gloves. A 30 foot measuring tape, personal hand tools, and safety glasses are required.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
