Summary: As a Customs Sales Manager, you will utilize your comprehensive knowledge of sales, distribution, market research, customer service and relationship building skills. Your role involves supporting and training sales representatives and inside sales coordinators, resolving issues customer issues, new business development and growing sales. You may also lead cross functional teams to collaborate on marketing strategies, R&D development and P&A sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following and are categorized by Leadership, Quality, Safety, and Performance. Other duties may be assigned.
Leadership
- Manage and strengthen established agreements and relations within EZ Loader Group Organizations nationally
- Leads external and internal salesforce and ensures metrics are maintained and targets met
Quality
- Commit to company safety procedures
- Implement and maintain quality controls and programs
Safety
- Ensure all safety regulations are followed
Performance
- Achievement of company sales goals by securing single and multiple unit sales to OEM, Distributors and Dealerships
- Research and provide accurate and timely responses to tender announcements in defined geographic territory
- Strengthens customer base through customer visits, attendance at appropriate trade shows, product seminars and timely follow-up of customer inquiries
- Support the company sales plan ensuring total market coverage and penetration
- Develop model year end requirements and pricing in align with corporate objectives
- Ensure effective, accurate, and timely communication with sales team and other Operational departments, (Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Customer Service, and Marketing)

- Proven work and managerial experience
- Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources, lean manufacturing, 5’s )
- Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
- Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
- Computer literacy
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
- Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
- BS degree in Business Management or related field. Years of experience can substitute a degree but some management training is required.
- 5-10 years experience as a Sales Manager
- Marina industry experience
