HR Manager/Generalist/Recruiter shall lead the entire HR related activities including, process development, recruiting, onboarding, corporate training, reports/ payroll, processing sick time and PTO, provide corrective counseling, warnings, terminations, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, HRIS, and all HR related details and duties including:
- Prepare and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations, coordinate, conduct onboarding and orientation processes for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the company.
- Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and communication with relevant providers
- Support the performance appraisal process by coordinating documentation and communication between managers and employees
- Assist in employee compliance items, onboarding, offboarding procedures, including conducting exit interviews and managing the return of company property
- Maintain and update HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. Manage and track attendance, time-off requests, and vacation schedules
- Manage employee healthcare and 4O1K benefits
- Assist with employee relations issues, helping to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment
- Collaborate with the company management to organize and execute employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and company events
- Stay up-to-date with relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in HR processes and practices
- Be the point of contact for all HR related communications, including managing emails, answering inquiries, and preparing reports
- Establishing and conducting orientations and training programs
- Implement employee benefits programs studying and assessing benefits needs and trends
- Prepare, submit, maintain unemployment claims/ records, attend unemployment hearings, maintain current and historical human resources records
- Lead the entire staffing process, including the full life cycle of recruiting/staffing as well as driving the performance of our workforce.
- Build and maintain a strategic partnership with all the departments through an extensive and detailed understanding of their departmental goals, strategic direction, processes, and policies
- Prepare weekly for all stakeholders
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline that aligns with the company’s short-term and long-term needs
- Consistent execution of recruiting plan to ensure the right quantity and quality of talent
- Screen and select candidates according to specific job profiles and workforce forecasts
- Scheduling, tracking and collecting Fingerprinting and Donor Pass Documentations
- Gathering and filing all paperwork related to new hires (i.e., CARI Check, OIG, Central Registry, and Physical/PPD)
- Review all documents to ensure all documents are current and meet company guidelines and ensure regulatory compliance are adhered to
- Responsible for collecting I-9 Information to ensure compliance
- Gathering, reviewing, and collecting payroll documentations (Federal and State W2’s) upon hire
- Comply with all operational standards and employment laws and regulations
Candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Recruiting and interviewing skills
- Phone, Skype, and online meeting platform skills
- Supports workplace diversity
- Familiarity with relevant employment Law
- Professionalism, organization, and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate clearly and effectively to FOC-DH employees and management.
- Strong public speaking skills and be comfortable presenting to large groups.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar role in a healthcare related organization
Experience working with the IDD population and implementing a training curriculum that aligns with the requirements mandated by New Jersey’s Division of Developmental Disabilities is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year depending on experience
