Job Summary:
Position requires handling critical information that requires assistance to meet the mission of OCIO. Candidate must have experience with providing governance framework to OCIO within and for a complex organization. Must possess strong oral, written, communication, and governance skills and being detail oriented. Successful candidate will adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. NOTE: This position is contingent upon an anticipated contract award. This is a REMOTE position; the government offices supported through these tasks are located in Atlanta, GA. A minimum of one in-person meeting per quarter with a maximum of three may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and sustain a healthy IT portfolio aligned to an OCOO, OCIO, and enterprise vision, including the governance processes and underlying framework that supports OCIO governance across the organization.
- Facilitate two (2) levels of governance: 1) local IT governance for OCIO investments and 2) OCOO-level IT governance through any established Business Systems Governance Council for all Business Service Offices and the Office of Strategic Business Initiatives.
- Assess current local governance and portfolio management processes, charters, and resources.
- Develop or refine local governance processes and resources based on identified gaps or challenges.
- Assist Investment Stewards in navigating governance processes and understanding governance requirements.
- Facilitate data calls and develop reports summarizing portfolio health, activity, and overall OCIO governance compliance.
- Support governance boards operations, communications, and logistics including but not limited to taking notes, tracking actions, drafting agendas and presentations.
- Enable governance boards to identify and recommend more modern and secure tools, technologies, and strategies for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of investment selection and resource allocation.
- Coordinate the collection, review, and prioritization of proposals for project funding.
- Provide facilitation and coordination for workgroups.
Education/Certifications/Required Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
- Must have at least 7-10 years of experience in Governance.
- Must have a Public Trust Clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen.
