Position Specification: Outside Sales, (RAM) Regional Account Manager for the Renegade Racing Fuels & Oils program is responsible for sales for their territory of SC, NC, VA, GA, or other US territories if needed. Prospect, develop and maintain new and existing relationships and business on a corporate and individual level. Advance and expand the Renegade Race Fuel brand through regional travel with a high standard of customer sales and service. Meet and or exceed yearly assigned budgetary goals.
Who We Are: Renegade Racing Fuel is a division of Valor Oil. Valor, a third-generation petroleum distributor based in Owensboro, Ky., provides private-label and major-brand gasoline, diesel fuels, racing fuels, lubricants, antifreeze, and other petroleum products. We operate approximately 13 C-stores in northern Kentucky & Ohio. As well as the operation of delivering gasoline to wholesale accounts in 4 southeast states at over 120 wholesale dealer locations. The company is headquartered in Owensboro, Ky. Alongside our office in Owensboro, Ky., we also have offices in Louisville, Ky, Florence, Ky, Maysville, Ky., and Bowling Green, Ky.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities Include:*
Sales and Account Management
- Conduct calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings with customers daily.
- Build relationships and maintain them with new and repeat customers.
- Prospect and expand new customer base, maintain, and grow existing sales.
- Enter orders into the ‘Delivery Works’ system to ensure accurate ordering and billing occurs.
- Ensures an in-depth working knowledge of the product lines and their function in the racing and performance industry.
- Partner with customers to review monthly and annual KPIs identify trends and assist with forecasting orders.
- Educate customers on Renegade Race Fuel, Oil, and other non-fuel-related products.
- Sell the company’s culture, service, and products within the territory.
Reporting
- Maintain and increase profitability by maintaining pricing integrity and controlling shipping costs but utilizing Sales Force.
- Ensures supervisor is updated regarding customer service issues, as appropriate.
- Contributes to the team by accomplishing any related results as needed. Provides weekly and monthly individual KPI Sales reports to supervisor when requested.
Travel, Shows, Races, and Events
- Attends annual Trade Shows or events when approved to strengthen customer relationships cultivated throughout the year.
Contributes to Renegade endeavors by assisting as needed to achieve situational goals.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing any related results as needed.
Performs additional duties as necessary to assist with the accomplishment of the organization's mission.
What does winning look like?
1. Maintain existing sales, and grow new, while making some big wins on a quarterly basis.
2. Successfully make face-to-face connections with key accounts and new prospects.
3. Drive brand awareness for Valor, LLC’s Renegade Race Division OR in a professional manner at shows, events, and races.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must Possess the Ideal Team Player Mindset: Humble, Hungry, and Smart.
- A qualified candidate has a strong sales background and demonstrates self-motivation and initiative in order to work independently off-site.
- Must gain requisite knowledge and experience in the areas of racing, both professional and sportsman levels.
- Demonstrates high propensity to sales position: prospecting, closing, follow-up. Retail experience, growing brand sales, pricing, and account management experience.
- Working with design teams, print, and operations teams.
- LTL and freight knowledge of hazmat materials.
- Must be knowledgeable with computers, email, outlook and excel
- Must be willing to train and use our CRM Sales Force and Delivery Works order entry system.
- Travel, overnight travel is required for 60 days/year or more.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sales and Territory management experience of 5 years or greater.
- Possesses high problem solving with little direction.
- Strong Communication skills to advance and expand brand awareness and the overall organization's mission and outreach endeavors.
- Motorsports or Powersports background or enthusiast is desired.
