This is a temporary position with a 1-2 month assignment.
The Tele-Sales Representative assists our DSD network by ensuring a positive customer experience through a consultative sales strategy over the phone and accurate order entry for an assigned territory. The duties listed portray in general terms the type and level of work performed and are not intended to be all inclusive.
Responsibilities

Contact customers according to frequency communicated by DSD network to obtain orders.

Engage in active dialogue with customers, which creates opportunities to introduce new items, LTOs, or upgrade coffee.

Recommend solutions to meet customer expectations.

Accurately enter orders in system in a timely manner to ensure on-time delivery.

Provide outstanding customer service and timely follow-up.

Answer all customer questions honestly and accurately.

Engage field sales as needed for demos, in-person meetings, etc.

Consistently make a good first impression when contacting customers.

Maintain a friendly, professional tone at all times.

Communicate professionally, clearly and precisely with customers in written and verbal form.

Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

Other duties as assigned by management.
Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required.

1 or more years of successful phone-based Customer Service/Sales experience required.

Basic computer skills, including order entry and MS Office Suite.

Experience in coffee industry or another specialty food product (nice, but not required).
