The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is a paraprofessional member of the care team who works under the supervision of an RN/therapist and performs various personal care services safely and efficiently as necessary to meet the specific patients/client's needs via written instructions. The CHHA is responsible for observing patients/clients, reporting these observations, and documenting observations and care performed. The CHHA will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity, and safety of patient/client care.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Successful candidates must meet the following:
- Possess an active CHHA certification
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
- Previous CHHA experience preferred.
- Meets the training requirements in accordance with State and Federal laws.
- The CHHA must complete at least 12 hours of in-service training during each 12 month period. This in-service may occur while an aide is furnishing care to a patient.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assistance with Basic ADLs
- Meal Prep
- Laundry
- Med Reminders
- Personal Hygiene
- Exercise
Schedule varies as to patient assignment. You will be consulted first whether you are okay to handle a patient or no.

Job Type: per Diem (there is room for growth and other benefits are available for full time employees)
Job Pay: Payment is per patient per visit ( visit increments from 45 min to 1 hour).
