PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
The Mobile Staging Department is responsible for preparing the vehicles, equipment and supplies to ensure the success of every mobile blood drive. The Mobile Staging Team Leader assists and provides oversight and assignments to safely load, clean, and repair/QC equipment for operational daily use. The Team Leader is to maintain a clean, organized, well stocked and clutter-free work area. Position is required to manage equipment, assist to control costs, prioritize tasks, and complete assignments in a timely manner. The Team Leader may be assigned to assist with audits, FDA, or any other entity requesting inspection, or observing (CBC) operations. Must possess valid Texas driver’s license and meet all Carter BloodCare’s (CBC) driver guidelines. Position is flexible and required to maintain regular full-time attendance during office hours, and may require overtime and/or float to other areas of the department. This position assists with on-going on-the-job development and/or training as required, kit assembly, document control, ordering supplies, and must enforce Mobile Staging guidelines. This position serves as backup to the Operations Coordinator of Mobile Staging and Centralized Scheduling regarding warehouse procedures.
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college or specialty school preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years work experience
- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
- Warehouse experience preferred
- CDL and Bilingual skills a plus
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Detailed oriented regarding document reviews (completeness, accurate, and legibly written) and ability to organize and prioritize to manage multiple tasks
- Strong computer and typing skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Focus on safety, compliance and quality
- Ability to learn and use problem solving skills
- Ability to lead and encourage motivation of others
