Job Description:
We are a combined lawn services and irrigation company office looking for an enthusiastic individual who would like to be part of a dynamic team for a well-respected company 30 years in the making.
In this customer service position within our office, you listen to our clients' needs and provide excellent support over the phone, through email, and in person. Each day provides new problems to solve and new ways to positively impact clients, and you do whatever you can to achieve total satisfaction. You answer questions, schedule job appointments, and maintain accurate records of all your interactions. If a client is unhappy with our services, you make them feel heard and promptly address their issues. You coordinate with field techs and other teams to ensure timely, accurate service.
Our ideal candidate is one that loves to get things done, with exemplary communication and people skills, and loves delivering fantastic customer service to our wonderful clients. The position requires a problem solver who likes to work in a small office and wear many hats, all the while being highly productive and effective at assigned tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Answering busy phones, immediately handling customer requests, handling inbound sales calls, and explaining and selling services over the phone.
- Resolving service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; and following up to ensure resolution.
- Providing accurate, valid, and complete information in response to customer inquiries.
- Scheduling services and routing teams via optimized routes that maximize the number of stops per day.
- Handling schedule changes, including those that come at the last minute by effectively communicating with the field teams and getting services rescheduled.
- Performing data entry activities associated with maintaining accurate customer information.
- Developing the knowledge and ability to communicate the selling points of all Pro-Mow and Superior Sprinkler system services and how they could benefit the customer.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in a customer service role, preferably in the home services industry.
- Excellent phone & communications skills using multiple lines.
- Customer-focused with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Sound problem-solving skills to find the root cause of customer issues.
- High standards of excellence, integrity and customer service.
- Ability to resolve conflict in a professional and decisive manner.
- Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to learn and apply general knowledge of the company, products and services.
- Good organizational and time management skills, including punctuality for on-time attendance.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
