PEOPLE AND CULTURE MANAGER
The People and Culture Manager at Saluhall will oversee our people operations and all human resources practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor relations, employee relations, and talent acquisition. The People and Culture Manager will offer strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate HR-related information to global stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive and facilitate HR initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and Saluhall overall business objectives
Execute and manage talent acquisition strategy to identify and attract top talent
Manage the Saluhall onboarding experience including onboarding orientation, IT needs and work device administration
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and retention of the Saluhall team
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems and procedures across the organization
Nurture a positive working environment and a collaborative flow within Saluhall, partnering with Saluhall leadership and and Global key stakeholders
Develop and implement performance management processes and programs to ensure that employees are engaged, productive, and meeting the expectations of the organization.
Track key recruiting metrics like turnover rates and source of hire
Manage ADP Workforce Now–Lead Practitioner
Ensure Saluhall staff complies with health and safety certifications
Maintain benefits programs
Assess training needs, monitor training programs and propose training development processes
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
An advocate and coach to all matters of compliance for California and Federal laws and policies and revise policies as needed
Partner with Saluhall leadership on maintaining a safe workplace environment, including OSHA reporting and WC claim administration
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
3-5 years of experience as Human Resources Director or Senior Human Resources Manager in hospitality, CPG and/or retail industries required
In-depth knowledge of employee relations, labor relations and team development standards and processes
Senior Management experience with California and Federal labor laws
Ability to compile and analyze People metrics and make recommendations based on data
Passion for the hospitality industry and building a team culture focused on Saluhall’s core values: Kind, Welcome, Driven
Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, and demonstrated ability to build and maintain inclusive work environments
Excellent communication and consulting skills
Experience working with Google Workspace, ADP Workforce Now, 7Shifts and Slack
Experience working with macOS
BSc/BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA or an HR Certification in human resources will be a plus
Bilingual English/Spanish required with the ability to translate compliance documents
