Job Overview:
The Inspector Support Representative (ISR) is a member of the Front End Department of the Company. As such, the ISR is responsible for performing high level internal support duties and provides specialized support for the inspector group. Supporting the inspectors effectively allows the Company to maintain the highest level of quality work product and time service for the client.
Primary Duties: Responsible for effective daily work orders of inspectors, including, but not limited to:
- Handle the day-to-day workflow of inspection orders
- Check for unassigned inspection orders in district area and assign to the appropriate area inspector
- Assist inspectors with inspection and scheduling challenges
- Professionally interact and respond to inspector calls, emails, and notes
- Identify various areas of opportunities with inspectors
- Assisting inspectors with rejected items
- Call and trace inspectors with late or overdue inspections
Additional Duties:
- Notify the IT Department when any of the following occurs:
- Any system challenges/errors within the operating programs
- Current procedures are ineffective or there is a better way
- Notify Inspection Manager when any of the following occurs:
- Quality and/or timing of inspections per inspector needs discussion to develop solutions and/or an inspector improvement plan
- Unprofessional conduct by a field inspector
- It is believed an area needs additional inspectors
- Any other field inspector related challenge
- Assistance with the Client Support items & change of teams if needed
- Professionally interact with all other internal employees, regarding matters that are related to the operations of the Company
- Cooperate fully and professionally when requested, to provide assistance, input, and/or research to all Company associates
- Work and complete special projects as deemed necessary by Management.
Qualifications:
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in a client service role
- Previous Property and Casualty Insurance experience a plus
- Ability to make decisions
