ADC is an established Boutique, Luxury Interior Design Studio inviting an incredibly talented, and dynamic Designer to join our Creative Team!
We cater to Boutique Hospitality and Luxury Residential Clients that draw upon our ability to write layered and unique stories through Design.
We are growing our Hospitality Devision and are looking for a seasoned Interior Designer with experience in Hospitality Projects, from concept through to Design Administration on location. Must be able to travel as our projects take us out of the Country.
Strong leadership skills with the desire and ability to guide and inspire the design team towards layered and rich presentations across multiple mediums: which include mood boards, 3-D modeling ( sketch-up or REVIT ) basic photoshop renderings, CAD drawings, image research, material selections, high-end FF&E selections, and other job-related duties as assigned.
Engagingly and persuasively through strong communication skills present work internally and externally.
Liaison between the Principal, the Team and the Client during the design process with efficiency and precision.
Lead the coordination and production of technical drawings which include Interior Design documentation sets, FF&E specifications, material schedules, and budgets.
Acute attention to detail in reviewing all documents to ensure that they incorporate design intent and technical accuracy.
Manage communications and coordination between ADC and consultants.
Review of construction administration services including RFI responses, submittal reviews and punch list reviews while resolving CA issues Participate in coordination with consultants and vendors.
Liaise between the Principal and the Design Team.
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Luxury Hospitality projects.
Strong Design Storytelling and Presentation skills.
Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
Must be a team player as well as comfortable working independently.
Ability to take initiative, prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines as well as delegate within the office.
Extremely organized, proactive and diligent.
High-end Hospitality experience with custom furniture, fabrics, finishes and decorative items.
Understanding of furniture, millwork, and cabinetry construction, detailing, and related shop drawing review process.
Ability to develop and track budgets, purchase orders, etc.
Acute, and unapologetic attention to Detail.
Proficiency in: Adobe Photoshop; InDesign; AutoCAD; Sketch Up with Escape; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Knowledge of Studio Designer is a plus.
Excellent AutoCAD drafting and a strong command and knowledge of drafting details, sections to convey your design.
REVIT knowledge is a plus.
Valid US Passport or Green Card.
