Seeking a Senior Accountant for a busy management company.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
· Will take charge of all companies’ audits.
· Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
· Ensure that all mandatory taxes and licenses such as use tax, city license, property tax are filed and paid timely.
· Assist in preparation of Medicare and Medi-Cal cost reports by outside consulting firm.
· Assists in Medicare and Medi-Cal audits with the goal of minimizing adverse audit findings.
· Manage the audits such as personal property tax returns (Form 571-L) and city business taxes.
· Will handle complicated companies’ book of accounts.
· Perform all balance sheet accounts reconciliations post all accruals and recurring entries.
· Generate monthly financial statements and perform year-end closing.
· Serve as a back – up for the bookkeepers.
· Assist Controller and CFO in preparation of any internal management reports and other ad hoc reports.
Desired Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
· At least 5 years’ experience in accounting.
· Excellent Microsoft Office skills such as Excel and Word.
· Knowledge in any accounting programs.
· In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
· Good communication and organizational skills.
· Must be detailed oriented and able to work independently.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
