As a Master Scheduler at MZT, you will coordinate schedules to ensure efficient and effective operation of the assigned construction projects. Your strong leadership, organizational skills, and construction expertise will be vital in driving the successful scheduling and leave the Client satisfied. You’ll be part of the project’s key personnel team. You will develop, plan, forecast, resource, and manage all scheduling activities aiming at assuring timely project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. With a strong attention to detail, you’ll ensure that all project documentation is accurate and complete from pre-construction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities
· Engage with PMs, QCM, and Superintendents to ensure timing, means, and methods are within the scope of our contracts as well as profitable and reasonable.
· Develop and evaluate project plans and change orders to include schedule, budget, staffing, and subcontracting.

· Develop schedule and monitor project milestones to effectively schedule construction crew from initial client engagement to project closeout.
· Develop proposal and baseline schedules – maintain a complete knowledge of the status of all projects to ensure success and profitability.
· Schedule timely narratives and reports, cost loading, and resource allocation.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
· Contribute to pre-construction scheduling and interfacing with our in-house design department.
· Serve as primary point of contact.
· Partner with Project Managers and communicate project milestones to stakeholders at regularly scheduled meetings and as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
· Generate critical path and logic reports to review / ensure timing and budget.
· Ensure that scheduling procedures are followed – baseline schedule and monthly updates for multiple projects.
· Responsible for cost loading schedule and coordinating with PMs.
· Support Project Management team and Superintendent in resolving in-field challenges with construction or personnel issues.
· Schedule status meetings and training.
· Track baseline and develop contingency plans.
· Produce and ensure scheduling system meets all needs of the projects and specifications.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
· Minimum five years’ experience in construction (Do we want to change this to 10 years?)
· Experience in standard concepts, practices, means, methods, and procedures within the construction market.
· Experience in both civil/ horizontal and building/ vertical construction.
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and/or Operations Management is desired; and demonstrated experience in construction management with multiple projects (commercial, public works, or government construction projects) and staff.
· Communication skills will be subject to assessment in both verbal and written form—business correspondence as well as ad-hoc in-field communication will both be strong demands in this position.
· Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to respond quickly to internal and external stakeholders.
Technical Skills
· Other construction management platform experience desired (e.g., Primavera P6, RMS, Oracle, eCMS, etc.)
· Strong technical knowledge and computer literacy skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.
· Proficient in Procore.
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
