Job Responsibilities:
As a shipping and receiving associate, you will work in a food manufacturing and production environment. Your duties will include pulling, packing, and sorting items for shipping and receiving. You will be responsible for accurately receiving and processing all inventory items.
Other responsibilities of the Warehouse Coordinator role include:
- Pulling merchandise from warehouse stock shelves
- Operate a forklift with extra attention to worker safety
- Recording selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Packaging merchandise for shipment, either in boxes or on pallets
- Ensuring correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed
- Replenishing area inventory stock as required.
- Upkeep of inventory management system
- Schedule and record all shipments and receiving
- Accurately counting all inventory received and shipped
- Coordinate with production for shipping fulfillment.
- Ensuring all paperwork is properly filled out and filed accordingly.
- Plan for production needs and stage all materials needed
As a shipping and receiving associate, you must be able to work in a team-oriented environment. You must be able to communicate well with management and fellow employees. Ideal candidates exhibit a positive attitude and have previous warehouse experience.
