Job description
Primary Job Function: To assist our members with all financial transactions including but not limited to: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and account openings. Employee will be located in our Hanson Place location.
Responsibilities include:
Service members in a courteous and efficient manner
Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments etc. as well as issuing teller checks and money orders
Opens and closes his/her teller box; responsible for maintaining a balanced cash drawer Opens accounts/CD’s
Assist members with account/loan questions
Establishes and maintains relationships with members while adhering to high service standards
Cross-sell credit union products to all members
Position Requirements:
Teller experience and/or customer service experience that includes heavy cash handling
Effective interpersonal and problem solving skills
Ability to work in a high volume customer service environment
Familiarity in the use of a PC
Outgoing personality
High school diploma or equivalent required
***Training will be approximately 2 weeks in our Hauppauge, NY headquarters***
Current branch hours: Monday: closed, Tuesday-Thursday 8:30-4:00, Friday-8:30-6:00 and Saturday-8:30-2:00
