Restaurant Team Members are the most important part of Toastique. They are the front-line employees that are responsible for putting together all orders and are hands-on creating toasts, smoothies, and bowls that are customers will enjoy. Team Members are responsible for keeping customers moving quickly through the line and pickup station by effectively taking orders, ringing up transactions, checking online orders and prioritizing tickets for optimal ticket time.
Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Operate CAKE POS system to process transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with coworkers
