Job Description
Quality Assurance Tech ensures accuracy of production through daily in-line Quality Control checks. This position aids the Quality Manager to execute all QA/QC tasks in a timely manner. The position monitors daily production by periodic in-line QC checks, verifying accuracy and integrity of products, and resolving or escalating issues to the Quality Manager. The QA Tech documents daily checks for record keeping and data gathering. This position investigates and attempts to resolve any issues elevated by the Quality Manager. This position will also assist with investigation requests brought forth by LDH.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Quality assurance team to execute Quality control tasks.
- Execute daily and weekly audits.
- Daily Quality Control checks and data gathering.
- Assist with requests and queries from the LDH.
- Assist with training for proper procedures and best practices.
- Coordinate with facility management to maintain full rules compliance.
- Assist with edits and review of state-specific and applicable national SOPs, policies, and supporting documents.
- Support QA leadership in implementing and maintaining a quality management system including the CSQ audit standard.
- Identify areas for quality control improvement and participate in problem solving activities to drive process improvements.
- Perform or assist in quality inspections, auditing against cGMP criteria and confirming established product quality requirements are achieved.
- Communicate issues and needs with compliance management; and
- Maintain a high standard of orderliness and professionalism.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Computer experience preferred.
- 1+ years of experience working in industrial production is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
- The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
- The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
- The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time.
