The Concrete Laborer will perform many tasks that require physical labor on construction sites in all types of weather. May operate hand and power tools of all types. Will assist other craft workers and take instructions. This position will learn their trade through on-the-job training.
Concrete Laborer Responsibilities:
- Building forms.
- Setting up the forms.
- Pouring concrete.
- Using rebar to reinforce the concrete.
- Spreading and smoothing concrete.
- Molding expansion joints and edges.
- Applying waterproofing and sealant to protect the concrete work.
- Monitoring the material to ensure it hardens to a durable finish.
- Keep jobsite, trucks, and equipment clean.
