Responsibilities
- Welcome our patients to our dental practice
- Prepare patients for treatments ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the operatory and well-stocked
- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills
- Proven experience as a dental assistant is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of dental instruments
- Itero-scanning is a plus
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Good computer skills: (Dentrix is a plus)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
