Job Title: Receptionist
Reports to: Reception Team Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary:
Martin Law is seeking a compassionate, team oriented, customer service focused Receptionist with both front desk and high call volume handling experience to cohesively and personally work with the Martin Law reception team take approximately 100 out of 500+ calls per day.

We are seeking full time in-person coverage (Monday - Friday 9a - 5p) and are actively interviewing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Answer all incoming calls in a friendly, compassionate and efficient manner.
- Direct all incoming calls to the appropriate employee or team after looking up client information in our database.
- Greet and direct clients as they enter our reception area.
- Type Memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Open and close our front reception area.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties
Other Responsibilities:
- File faxes into team bins
- Scan discovery packets
- Prepare files for upcoming court cases.
- Stock the mail room and reception area
- Perform special projects as directed as needed

- Sound business acumen regarding administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as Microsoft Office.
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with attention to detail.
- Possesses sound judgment and is decisive.
- Legal experience (preferred)

Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma required or GED.
- One year of related experience preferably in a business services environment.
Language Skills:
- Ability to type basic business correspondence and with accurate grammar and punctuation.
- Ability to speak professionally, compassionately and articulately to clients.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet (navigate and browse), Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Case Management software is preferred but not required. Basic typing skills are required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $42,500.00 per year
